How to visit forest

Our life is monotonous and some times we feel boring to our monotonous life. We need to make fresh our mind for making tasks easy. A forest life is fresh and free from pollution. There are no difficulties of forest life. Some natural disasters create damage to the forest but other things are all well. If you visit a forest you feel a different taste of life. Your every step into the forest makes you charming. You find new adventure and will get new experience to visit a forest.

It is not difficult to visit forest from any place of the country. If a person who wants to visit forest; at first he have collects some information about where he wants to visit. There are so many tourisom corporations now available in Bangladesh. They provide tour packages like 3 days or one week package or so on.

Where you observe from Sundarban

You can visit sundarban at any place from Bangladesh or rest of the world. You first go to the district from where you want to visit. Like if you want to vist Sundarbon to the "Hiron point".

There are also two other Heritage side in Sunderban; one is Kochikhali and the other is Mandarbaria where you will find dears and birds. If you are lucky you can see the Great Royal Bengal Tiger, but for sure you can at least see the stepping of Great Royal Bengal Tiger here and there in these spots.a tourist spot in Sunderban. It is called the world heritage state. You can enjoy the beauty of wild nature and dotted dears walking and running in Hiron point. 

Katka is one of Heritage sites in Sunderban. In Katka there is a wooden watching tower of 40 ft. high from where you can enjoy the scenic beauty of Sunderban. A beautiful sea beach is there is Katka; you will enjoy while you are walking to go the beach from the watching tower. Verities birds are visible in Katka.

Wild life of Sundarban

Sundarban has a great eco system. There are so many types of animals and birds are there. Recent studies revealed that the Bangladesh Sundarbans support diverse biological resources including at least 120 species of commercially important fishes, 270 species of birds, 42 species of mammals, 35 reptiles and eight amphibian species. This represents a significant proportion of the species present in Bangladesh (i.e. about 30% of the reptiles, 37% the birds and 34% of the mammals) and includes a large number of species which are now extinct elsewhere in the country. Two amphibians, 14 reptiles, 25 aves and five mammals are presently endangered. The Sundarbans is an important wintering area for migrant water birds and is an area suitable for watching and studying avifauna.

The Sundarbans were home to approximately 500 Bengal tigers in 2004, one of the largest single population of tigers. Tiger attacks are frequent in the Sundarbans. Between 100 and 250 people are killed per year. However, owing to various measures taken for safety, there have been no reports of deaths since 2004 in the Indian portion of the Sundarbans

Geographical info of Sundarnban

Sundarban is nearly 2400 sq. miles or 6000 sq. km. It has some part in India and rest of the part in Bangladesh.  
The forest limit can be categorise as: North-Bagerhat, Khulna and Sathkira districts : South-Bay of Bengal; East-Baleswar (or Haringhata) river, Perojpur, Barisal district, and West-Raimangal and Hariabhanga rivers which partially form Bangladesh boundary with West Bengal in India.

Sundarbans National Park is the largest estuarine mangrove forest in the world. Twenty-six of the fifty broad mangrove types found in the world grow well in the Sundarbans. The commonly identifiable vegetation that grow in the dense mangrove forests at the Sundarbans are salt water mixed forest, mangrove scrub, brackish water mixed forest, littoral forest, wet forest and wet alluvial grass forests.

Sundarban is the largest mangrove forest of the whole world. The name Sundarban can be literally translated as "beautiful jungle" or "beautiful forest" in the Bengali language (Sundar means "beautiful" and bans means "forest" or "jungle"). The name may have been derived from the Sundari trees that are found in Sundarbans in large numbers.
